At Petley Jones Gallery’s Re-Gifted show, a bunch of Vancouver artists have created pieces specifically for giving. Several fall into the $200-to-$400 range, and there are plenty of locally evocative works by names like Ann Nelson (whose On the Way to Garibaldi is shown here). The fact that 10 percent of profits from the paintings will go to B.C. Children’s Hospital should add to the warm-and-fuzzy feeling.
